It is with great pride and privilege that I introduce myself to you as Principal of Cordeaux Academy and as Principal, it is my aim to realise the goal of creating an outstanding learning environment and experience for all those who pass through our doors.

Cordeaux Academy is an amazing, vibrant place where every child is treated as an individual and where every child matters. The staff at Cordeaux are professional, dedicated and hardworking, and together it is our shared aim to equip all students with the knowledge, skills and confidence that will enable them to play a full and active role in the modern world.
In all key stages, students experience a modern, relevant curriculum which is designed to meet the needs of all. We offer a creative academic and vocational curriculum through which students are equipped with the skills, knowledge and understanding that will enable them to realise their ambitions and progress positively at 16 and 18 be that to university, apprenticeship, further education or direct entry into the world of work.
There is a purposeful and positive atmosphere throughout the Academy and it soon becomes apparent to anyone who visits that students are happy at Cordeaux and enjoy their learning.
Cordeaux is very much in the ascendency: results are improving; we are the school of choice in the community and as a result we are oversubscribed. We have a growing, vibrant Sixth Form and we offer a comprehensive and varied programme of extra-curricular activities. We have developed strong partnerships both locally and as part of the AET group of academies, and are therefore able to offer a wide range of development opportunities.

If you are interested in finding out more about the exciting opportunities available and what it means to be a student at Cordeaux Academy please browse our website or alternatively should you wish to visit and see us in action please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be delighted to arrange a visit.
