Uniform

As part of the high standards set by the school, students in Years 7-11 are expected to wear appropriate school uniform, details of which appear below. Students are expected to appear clean and smart at all times and to take a pride in their appearance.

Parents/Carers should ensure that all items of clothing and equipment are clearly marked with the student’s name. The school uniform is the same for both sexes, with girls having a choice of skirt (approved styles only) or trousers (

Further guidance

If a coat is worn to school we would prefer it to be black and it should be without prominent designer logos. Hoodies will not be permitted. Further information is provided making clear which shoes are and are not acceptable for school.

SIXTH FORM STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO WEAR THE SORT OF DRESS THAT WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE IN ANY OFFICE JOB

  • No jewellery is to be worn during P E lessons
  • Studded boots (i.e. football/rugby/hockey)
  • Cycle shorts may be worn under shorts/skirt provided they are plain black

‘Skins’ may be worn under t-shirts or rugby shirts provided they are black or white.
